Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • minimum one year of front desk or reception related experience preferred
  • proficiency in typing, filing, and use of office equipment
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work overnight shift on Saturdays from 11:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M.
  • patient and compassionate attitude towards seniors
  • ability to adhere to company policies and resident rights
  • ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstration of core values including love, kindness, honesty, goodness, fairness, respect
  • at least one year of front desk or reception related experience preferred
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
  • knowledge of typing, filing, use of office equipment such as copy machines, telephone systems, and intercommunication systems
  • understanding of resident rights and confidentiality
  • friendly, courteous, patient, and understanding demeanor
  • ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload

Job Duties

  • Greet visitors, families, and residents
  • answer telephone promptly using appropriate community greeting
  • sort and distribute mail to departments
  • type and file correspondence and other information
  • adhere to and interpret resident rights
  • adhere to and interpret personnel policies
  • use office equipment including computers, calculators, copy machines, postage machines
  • express concern and compassion for residents and families
  • escort visitors to resident suites and other areas if necessary
  • perform other duties as assigned
