Job Description

GardaWorld Security Services is a globally recognized leader in security, known for delivering sophisticated and customized security solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of clients across various sectors. The company has built a solid reputation for employing and training highly skilled, dedicated security professionals who uphold the highest standards of service and integrity. GardaWorld operates with a strong commitment to employee growth and workplace excellence, being notably the only guarding security company in the United States certified as a Great Place to Work. This certification highlights GardaWorld's dedication not only to its clients but also to its employees, fostering an environment that encourages career advancement and recognizes frontline workers' contributions, with many corporate employees starting their careers on the front lines.

The Concierge Security Officer role at GardaWorld Security Services blends the essential duties of a security guard with a high level of customer service. This position is crucial in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, and other high-traffic locations where first impressions and personal interactions matter just as much as ensuring safety and security. As a Concierge Security Officer, you will be the frontline representative of GardaWorld, providing a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining security protocols. Your responsibilities will include managing access control, welcoming and verifying identities of visitors, conducting regular patrols to identify any security risks, inspecting security equipment, and responding promptly to incidents. You will also provide first aid when necessary and coordinate responses with emergency teams, ensuring safety and protection for individuals and property under your watch.

This role is designed for individuals who excel in communication, have exceptional customer service skills, and possess a natural ability to engage with others in a way that reassures and inspires confidence. The job offers a competitive hourly wage between $19.50 and $21.00 with opportunities for DailyPay accessibility, providing flexibility and immediate access to earned wages. Additionally, employment comes with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options. Working hours are scheduled, with shifts from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm or 11:00 pm to 7:00 am from Friday to Monday, requiring availability to work weekends and holidays. Uniforms are provided at no cost, supporting a professional appearance at all times.

GardaWorld Security Services encourages applicants with prior security, military, or law enforcement experience but also welcomes individuals eager to start a career in the security field. The position requires candidates to be at least 21 years old, authorized to work in the United States, and willing to pass extensive background screenings and drug tests. Candidates should possess or be eligible to obtain a security license and CPR/AED certification. This role represents more than just a job; it offers a promising career path for ambitious individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit who want to grow within a globally respected security firm committed to excellence, diversity, and equal opportunity employment.
