Job Description
GardaWorld Security Services stands as a global leader in providing sophisticated and tailored security solutions, employing and training highly skilled and dedicated professionals worldwide. Known for its commitment to excellence and employee satisfaction, GardaWorld is the only guarding security company in the United States certified by Great Place to Work. With a strong emphasis on career growth, 26% of their corporate employees started as frontline workers, highlighting their dedication to internal promotion and professional development.
The company is currently hiring a Concierge Security Officer to work at a North Little Rock, AR location. This role is tailored for individuals who are not only focused on physical security but excel in customer service and building meaningful connections with visitors and tenants. The Concierge Security Officer serves as the frontline representative in office towers, hotels, shopping centers, and similar environments where maintaining a secure yet welcoming atmosphere is crucial. This position is full-time with a set schedule from Wednesday to Thursday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and Friday to Sunday, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, covering evening and overnight shifts for a total of 40 hours per week.
Offered is a competitive hourly wage of $17.00, with the added benefit of DailyPay availability, enabling employees to access their earnings quickly. Additionally, GardaWorld provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options. Uniforms are provided at no cost, ensuring staff can perform their duties professionally and comfortably.
The Concierge Security Officer's primary responsibilities go beyond just security enforcement. Building rapport and reassuring visitors through exceptional customer service is a significant part of the role. Officers will welcome guests, verify identities, and guide visitors efficiently, managing access control to ensure that only authorized individuals enter the premises. Regular patrols will be conducted to spot potential risks, inspect security equipment, and report maintenance needs proactively. They will respond to emergency incidents, administer first aid if necessary, and coordinate with emergency teams to maintain safety.
The role also involves answering questions in person or by phone, documenting incidents thoroughly, and maintaining clear communication regarding security concerns. The ability to patrol outside the facility using a client’s vehicle adds mobility to their security presence. GardaWorld values officers with prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement, though this is not mandatory. The role requires a clean driving record, being at least 21 years of age, and possessing the necessary state licenses if applicable. Prospective candidates must successfully pass an extensive screening process, including background checks and drug screening, to ensure the utmost reliability and professionalism.
In joining GardaWorld, potential employees gain more than a job—you become part of a respected global organization that values diversity, equality, and inclusion in its workforce. The company prides itself on providing an equal opportunity environment, fostering career advancement, and supporting an ambitious entrepreneurial spirit. Whether you are looking to begin your career in security or advance within the field, GardaWorld offers promising opportunities where your skills and dedication can be recognized and rewarded.
