Job Description
GardaWorld Security Services is a global leader in providing sophisticated and tailored security solutions, committed to employing and training highly skilled and dedicated security professionals worldwide. Renowned for its strong reputation and status as the only guarding security company certified by Great Place to Work in the United States, GardaWorld offers a promising career path for individuals seeking meaningful work that goes beyond a traditional job. The company emphasizes a culture of respect, growth, and inclusion, ensuring equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, veteran status, or disability in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
The Concierge Security Officer role at GardaWorld is designed for those who are enthusiastic about blending excellent customer service with vigilant security practices. This position is situated at a vibrant site in Chula Vista, CA, where the primary working hours are set from 4 pm to 12 am, Monday through Wednesday and Friday, totaling 32 hours per week. As a Concierge Security Officer, you will be the frontline representative who not only safeguards the premises but also fosters a welcoming and reassuring environment for visitors and employees alike. This job requires interaction with diverse groups of people in various settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers, making strong interpersonal skills vital.
Your responsibilities will include managing access control, carrying out regular patrols, and identifying potential security risks to maintain a secure environment. You will also perform customer service duties, such as welcoming visitors, verifying identities, and guiding them appropriately. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as the role requires answering queries in person or by phone and preparing detailed incident reports to document any peculiarities or emergencies. Your proactive approach will be critical in responding to incidents, including providing first aid and coordinating with emergency response teams when necessary.
GardaWorld values the professional growth of its employees and provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options. Moreover, the company offers a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions and supplies uniforms at no cost. Employees have access to DailyPay for flexible wage access, and those with prior security, military, or law enforcement experience are especially encouraged to apply. The hiring process may involve additional security training, but the company supports employees throughout to ensure their success.
Joining GardaWorld as a Concierge Security Officer is not just about fulfilling a job role; it is an opportunity to build a career with a championship-caliber company that values initiative and ambition. Many of the company’s corporate employees began as frontline workers, demonstrating the potential for upward mobility and success within the organization. If you have a genuine interest in security and customer service, combined with a desire to grow professionally, GardaWorld invites you to apply and become a valued member of their team.
