Job Description

GardaWorld Security Services is a globally recognized leader in sophisticated and tailored security solutions, employing highly skilled professionals dedicated to providing exceptional protection and peace of mind. With roots extending worldwide, GardaWorld is the only guarding security company in the United States certified by Great Place to Work, reflecting their commitment to fostering a positive work environment and career growth opportunities for their employees. As a rapidly expanding security services company, GardaWorld is dedicated to ensuring safety in diverse environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, and other commercial locations. Their reputation is built on providing customers with trustworthy and highly trained security personnel who not only enforce safety but also build meaningful community connections.

The Concierge Security Officer role at GardaWorld Security Services is a client-facing security position emphasizing a strong focus on customer service. As a Concierge Security Officer, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and site occupants, tasked with greeting guests, verifying identity, and guiding individuals through the premises. Your natural ability to engage authentically with others will be key to reassuring and inspiring confidence among those you protect. Working a set schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday at a site in Southport, NC, this role offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.00 per hour with bi-weekly pay and access to DailyPay for financial flexibility.

The role is designed for individuals who thrive in dynamic, customer-focused environments and who want to play an active role in maintaining safety and security while providing outstanding service. At GardaWorld, your duties will include managing access control systems, performing regular security patrols, inspecting security equipment to ensure proper functionality, responding promptly to incidents, and providing first aid or coordinating emergency responses as needed. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate incident reports and communicating effectively about security concerns to your team and supervisors.

Employees at GardaWorld Security Services benefit from a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance plans; a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions; a paid time off policy alongside paid holidays; disability coverage; and life insurance options. GardaWorld provides all necessary uniforms at no cost, supporting a professional appearance at all times. Beyond the immediate benefits and competitive pay, GardaWorld encourages professional growth and advancement within the company, with 26 percent of their corporate employees having started as frontline workers like you.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals authorized to work in the U.S. who possess excellent customer service skills, a high school diploma or GED, and hold the required NC PPSB license, TWIC license, and valid state license. Technological proficiency with basic phone and computer skills is also necessary. GardaWorld Security stands out not only for its commitment to safety but also for its values of equal employment opportunity, nondiscrimination, and fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit and want to be a GardaWorld Ambassador, the Concierge Security Officer position is more than just a job; it is a promising career path in security services with a company that invests in your future.
