This job posting seeks a Concierge Security Officer for a full-time position at a site located in Herriman, Utah. The role entails working from Monday to Friday, 5:30 am to 7:30 am, with a steady 40-hour workweek. As a Concierge Security Officer, the incumbent will serve as the frontline representative of GardaWorld in various environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers, where customer service is paramount. This role demands a strong ability to build meaningful connections with visitors and clients, fostering an atmosphere of reassurance and safety. Responsibilities include welcoming and verifying the identity of visitors, guiding them as necessary, managing access control, conducting regular patrols to detect potential risks, inspecting and reporting on security equipment maintenance needs, responding promptly to incidents, providing first aid when necessary, and coordinating with emergency teams effectively.

The position requires excellent communication skills to address questions by phone or in person and to document incidents and security concerns accurately. GardaWorld values candidates with a background in security, military, or law enforcement, although such experience is not mandatory. Additionally, possessing a state security license where required is advantageous. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and be authorized to work in the United States. Holding a high school diploma or GED is compulsory, and passing an extensive screening process is mandatory to ensure the reliability and professionalism of every team member.
