This position at GardaWorld is for a Concierge Security Officer based at the Vandalia, Ohio site. This full-time role involves working primarily the 3rd shift from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., Saturday through Wednesday. The Concierge Security Officer plays a vital role where security meets customer service, working in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers where the ability to engage warmly with visitors and tenants is paramount. The position requires a natural ability to foster trust, reassure visitors, and inspire confidence through positive interactions. The Concierge Security Officer is responsible for welcoming and verifying the identity of visitors, managing access control, and maintaining safety by conducting regular patrols and inspecting security equipment. This role also involves responding to incidents, providing first aid if necessary, and coordinating with emergency responders to ensure a secure environment. Candidates will also be tasked with answering inquiries by phone or in person, writing incident reports, and effectively communicating any security concerns.
