Job Description
Towne Park is a dedicated hospitality services company committed to delivering exceptional service experiences to hospital employees, patients, guests, and visitors. With a rich history of fostering smiles through compassionate and professional engagement, Towne Park ensures that every interaction is one that leaves a positive impact on those they serve. As a leader in the hospitality services sector, Towne Park values not just the quality of its services but the meaningful connections made in the process. The company thrives on creating an environment where every employee finds fulfillment in making a difference in someone's day, whether it is easing the anxieties of patients and their families or enhancing the overall hospitality experience of visitors.
The Concierge role at Towne Park is integral to this mission. Situated within a hospital setting, the Concierge provides essential personal assistance services to a diverse group of clients including hospital staff, patients, guests, and visitors. These services range from running errands to providing detailed information and directions, acting as both a guide and a facilitator to improve the client experience significantly. The position is not only about offering support but also about embodying a pleasant, professional demeanor that reflects Towne Park’s dedication to customer satisfaction and care.
This role is structured as a part-time position with a set work schedule from Wednesday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, offering a competitive hourly wage starting at $19.29. This structure suits candidates looking for a meaningful position within a supportive work environment, where each day offers fresh opportunities to enhance the experiences of others.
Key responsibilities involve a variety of tasks essential for smooth hospital operations and positive guest experiences. The Concierge is expected to manage appointments, errands such as gift shopping, banking, car services, and provide key information about hospital services and surrounding areas. The role involves substantial interpersonal communication requiring a warm approach and competence in handling special requests with grace and efficiency. Regents of essential services can also involve placing orders for supplies and assisting in event planning, underscoring the diverse nature of the job.
Candidates for this role must possess a high school diploma or GED and hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, emphasizing the job's mobility requirements. The ability to complete Towne Park's Wheelchair Safety Training is mandatory, ensuring safety and professionalism in assisting hospital patients and visitors. Experience requirements are flexible, welcoming applicants with one to three months of relevant experience or an equivalent blend of education and on-the-job training.
Physical fitness is a vital aspect of the role, as it includes outdoor work in varying weather conditions, the ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds, and the physical demands of walking, standing, and occasionally running within the hospital environment. This comprehensive role demands a compassionate heart paired with reliable operational skills, making it a unique opportunity for someone eager to contribute positively in a healthcare setting while advancing their career in hospitality services.
Joining Towne Park as a Concierge means becoming part of a community that prioritizes service excellence, supportive teamwork, and the joy of making impactful differences every day. Towne Park also extends its benefits to employees, including access to accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and a 401k retirement savings plan, contingent on eligibility. These benefits highlight Towne Park's commitment to employee wellbeing and financial security, making it a truly rewarding workplace for conscientious and dedicated individuals.
