This role is pivotal in shaping the first impression for all who enter the community, setting the tone for a welcoming, professional, and positive environment. The Concierge/Receptionist acts as the heart of the lobby area, providing attentive customer service, managing communications, and supporting various departments such as sales, marketing, and the business office.
The ideal candidate will be a friendly and resourceful individual who takes pride in creating positive experiences for elders, families, visitors, and staff alike. This person must excel in communication, demonstrating kindness and patience when interacting with elderly residents, families, and other stakeholders. Job Requirements
- Pass a criminal background check
- Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service or related field
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Demonstrated problem-solving skills

Job Duties
- Answer incoming calls and take messages
- Greet elders, families, visitors, and team members in person and on the phone, answering questions and creating a positive environment
- Assist leadership team members with Life Enrichment, Marketing, and accounting tasks such as events, directing marketing calls, receiving invoices, and sorting mail
- Monitor the entry area for visitors and guests, ensuring it is neat, clean, and inviting
- Receive and send packages for elders and assist them with questions and concerns
- Represent the community by role-modeling core values of goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun
- Support sales, marketing, and business office as needed
