Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience as concierge or providing resident services

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience as concierge or in resident services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to promote teamwork in providing services to residents
  • Willingness to learn and help others
  • Enjoyment in working with older adults

Job Duties

  • Welcomes residents and guests, determines nature of business, directs and registers visitors
  • Provides continual face-to-face communication with residents and families about community activities, events, policies, and procedures
  • Takes transportation requests, maintains transportation log, and drives as needed
  • Answers multiline telephone system to accept incoming calls and direct them appropriately
  • Responds to emergency situations and acts as the point of contact
  • Makes reservations and maintains schedules for Guest Suites, ensuring room readiness
  • Receives payments for rent, fees, activities, and services
  • Distributes mail and packages accurately and timely
  • Updates and maintains resident and family emergency contact information
  • Processes clubhouse reservations for private events and guest suites
  • Receives requests for maintenance and housekeeping
  • Performs administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing
  • Keeps reception area and clubhouse neat and clean
  • Notifies Director when supplies need to be ordered or maintained
  • Assists with activities and events as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned
