The role of Concierge at Ivy Park at Laguna Creek is a key position that ensures exceptional customer service and smooth daily operations within the community. This position involves greeting visitors, fulfilling resident requests, arranging tours of the property, and providing clerical support to administrative staff. The Concierge acts as the first point of contact for residents, guests, and visitors, representing the community's values and mission through professional and courteous interactions. The role includes answering multi-line telephone systems efficiently, monitoring the Emergency Alert System with prompt responses to calls, managing the business center, and handling incoming and outgoing mail. The Concierge is also responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests by adhering to established safety standards. Additionally, promoting teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments is essential to ensure a harmonious and supportive community environment.
This role is part-time, primarily covering Friday and Saturday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with hourly pay ranging from $17.00 to $17.50. The position requires a combination of excellent customer service skills, organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ivy Park, supported by Oakmont Management Group, values the safety and health of its community and staff, implementing measures such as criminal background checks, health screening tests including physical and TB tests, and possibly COVID-19 related safety protocols like vaccination, daily screenings, and use of personal protective equipment. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community
- excellent customer service skills
- able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
- possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests
- willing to comply with health and safety protocols related to COVID-19 or other communicable diseases
