Job Description
PS is a pioneering company transforming the landscape of commercial air travel by building and operating private airport terminals that deliver a seamless luxury experience for travelers. Currently, PS serves guests at prominent locations including Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), and Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), with new terminals under development at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Miami International Airport (MIA). This positions PS at the forefront of redefining how air travelers experience airports, turning traditionally hectic and crowded environments into exclusive, private, and highly efficient travel spaces.
PS's mission is to elevate the entire journey through airports by offering its members privacy, ease, and security akin to private flights, but while utilizing commercial airlines. Through unique partnerships with TSA and U.S. Customs and Border Protection, PS enables guests to bypass long lines for departures and arrivals with VIP treatment that includes private TSA screening, dedicated customs and immigration services, and luxurious chauffeur transfers directly to and from aircraft on the airfield. The company's attention to detail ensures that every moment in their private terminals is marked by comfort, exclusivity, and impeccable service.
Inside the terminals, guests enjoy an array of premium amenities such as serene private suites, gourmet chef-prepared dining, and rejuvenating spa services. The dedicated PS Control Room coordinates discreetly with government agencies, airline officials, and security personnel to maintain unparalleled efficiency, safety, and peace of mind. PS effectively eliminates the common pain points of traditional airport experiences such as waiting in long lines, navigating crowded terminals, and dealing with luggage hassles, replacing them with an atmosphere of quiet elegance and personalized hospitality. This holistic approach to luxury travel underscores PS's commitment to creating inspired and heartfelt service experiences.
The role of Concierge at PS is integral to fulfilling its promise of flawless traveler experiences. Reporting directly to the PS LAX Director of Hospitality, the Concierge is responsible for bridging all aspects of a traveler’s journey, ensuring smooth coordination of travel-related requirements up to and including the day of travel. The Concierge connects with guests 24 hours prior to their scheduled journey, assesses their needs, and prepares all operational details related to the onsite experience for a successful and enjoyable visit. The position is full-time and non-exempt, compensating at $31.93 per hour with overtime opportunities available.
In this role, the Concierge acts as a primary point of contact who can navigate all operational departments to coordinate suite arrangements, third-party services, and food and beverage orders. Communication skills are essential as the Concierge handles traveler inquiries via text and email, responds promptly within standard response times, and fields phone calls on the day of travel to effectively manage orders and information flow to appropriate teams. The Concierge must be adaptable and proactive, capable of multitasking and prioritizing to ensure every traveler receives punctual and personalized service. The position requires availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and early morning or late evening shifts, reflecting the 24-hour nature of PS operations.
This job is ideal for those passionate about luxury hospitality and excited to contribute to reshaping the future of commercial air travel. PS offers a dynamic and inclusive work culture committed to diversity and equal opportunity, providing employees with robust benefits, career advancement potential, and an environment where they can make a significant impact within an innovative company.
