Job Requirements

  • Must have a high school education
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills
  • Must possess an understanding and ability to demonstrate hospitality
  • Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm
  • Must possess basic computer usage and data entry skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications preferred
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, associates, residents, family members, and outside contacts
  • Must have passion to work with and around senior citizens
  • Must pass Level 2 background screening through Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
  • Must maintain professional decorum and dress in uniform
  • Must disclose any medication that might impair ability to perform job safely or competently
  • Must be able to work safely and alert manner
  • Must take ownership for associate's safety and safety of residents
  • Must be punctual and able to perform duties regularly
  • Must follow company guidelines on computer usage.

Job Duties

  • Answers incoming calls in a warm, pleasant and professional manner
  • Ensures all messages are relayed promptly to the intended person
  • Maintains current visitor log
  • Greets all visitors, residents, family members and associates warmly on the phone and in person
  • Ensures reception areas are clean, hospitable, and inviting
  • Upholds concierge team standards and first impression captain standards for community entrances and lobby
  • Creates and maintains resident face sheets using Yardi system
  • Updates and distributes resident information and photographs as needed
  • Inputs data related to resident assessments into Yardi system
  • Inputs work orders into Direct Supply TELS system
  • Communicates environment and hospitality concerns to appropriate personnel
  • Ensures all community entry areas maintain 'Show Ready' appearance
  • Possesses thorough knowledge of community benefits, services, residents, and associates
  • Assists Directors of Community Relations and Sales with inquiries
  • Supports Business Office Manager with administrative tasks including credit card summaries, petty cash, deposits, checkbook maintenance, purchase journaling, and accounts payable
  • Offers refreshments and ensures visitors feel welcome
  • Respects residents' rights to privacy
  • Coordinates residents' appointments for transportation and other services
  • Collects and distributes residents' mail
  • Handles community mail duties including packages
  • Assists in preparing community brochure packets
  • Minimizes unnecessary interactions with coworkers maintaining professionalism
  • Supports Executive Director and departments with additional administrative duties
  • Adheres to company computer usage guidelines
  • Dresses professionally in uniform
  • Maintains professional decorum and safety
  • Takes ownership of associate and resident safety
  • Discloses any medication impairing job performance.
