The Concierge role at Christian Living Communities and Cappella Living Solutions acts as the first and central point of contact for residents, visitors, and service providers, delivering personalized and hospitality-focused service. This position requires a self-motivated individual with exceptional communication skills who can manage a variety of tasks, from answering resident inquiries to coordinating reservations for dining, travel, and entertainment. The Concierge is responsible for screening incoming calls, greeting visitors, managing mail distribution, and providing clerical support including typing correspondence and managing event reservations. Additionally, the role involves ensuring the community's security through regular rounds and handling emergency response systems effectively. This role supports the Resident Services Director by handling emergency situations when necessary. With a focus on courteous and effective service, the Concierge is pivotal in maintaining a welcoming and secure environment for all community members. The position requires proficiency with multi-line telephone systems, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- working knowledge of multi-extension, multi-line telephone system
- prior concierge or hospitality experience preferred
- energetic and enthusiastic attitude
- exceptional communication skills
- good organizational skills and ability to multitask
- minimum one-year experience in business office environment
- strong clerical skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- ability to read, write, and speak English

Job Duties
- Screens incoming calls
- takes messages and/or forwards calls as appropriate
- greets and signs in all visitors
- provides directions or information to residents, visitors, guests, and vendors
- sorts and distributes incoming mail
- provides clerical assistance including typing letters, memorandums, reports, and forms
- receives event reservations and schedules guest apartment reservations
- updates census, resident directory, and birthday list
- provides basic information to those inquiring about the community
- ensures marketing brochures are available
- responds to Emergency Call System and building alarm system
- administers Stat Check System
- conducts periodic interior rounds to ensure building security
- processes work orders for the community
- manages office equipment and supplies
- provides courteous service to all residents, guests, and co-workers
- handles resident emergency situations in absence of Resident Services Director
- performs other duties as assigned
