The Apartment Concierge position at Christian Living Communities | Cappella Living Solutions in Englewood, CO is an integral role that serves as the first and central point of contact for residents and visitors, enhancing the overall living experience through exceptional hospitality and service. This role requires a self-motivated individual who is energetic and enthusiastic with outstanding communication skills. The Apartment Concierge is responsible for coordinating a variety of resident services, including managing inquiries related to dining, travel arrangements, entertainment, events, and community services. Additionally, the role demands handling phone systems, directing visitors, managing in-house mail, and assisting with reservations and clerical tasks. It is essential that the person in this position can multitask effectively, maintain organization, and provide courteous, personalized service to residents, guests, and team members.

This position involves operational responsibilities such as screening incoming calls, greeting guests, signing in visitors, sorting and distributing mail, maintaining community security through periodic building rounds, and managing administrative systems including emergency call responses and work order processes. The Concierge also supports the team by providing clerical assistance, typing correspondence, and updating resident records and directories. In the absence of the Resident Services Director, the Concierge may be called upon to handle resident emergencies, highlighting the need for a calm and professional demeanor.

Regarding employment, the Apartment Concierge role may be part-time, full-time, or PRN (on-call), with a competitive wage aligned within predetermined salary ranges. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • working knowledge of multi-line telephone systems
  • prior concierge or hospitality experience preferred
  • energetic and enthusiastic with strong communication skills
  • good organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • minimum one-year office environment experience
  • proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook
  • ability to read, write and speak English

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Screens incoming calls
  • takes messages and/or forwards calls as appropriate
  • greets and signs in all visitors
  • provides directions or information to residents, visitors, guests and vendors
  • sorts and distributes incoming mail
  • provides clerical assistance including typing letters, memos, reports, and forms
  • receives event and guest apartment reservations and updates resident directories
  • provides basic information about the community and ensures marketing materials are available
  • responds to emergency call system and building alarm system
  • manages administration of Stat Check System
  • performs periodic interior building rounds to ensure security
  • receives and processes work orders
  • manages office equipment and supplies
  • provides effective and courteous service to residents, guests and co-workers
  • handles resident emergency situations in absence of Resident Services Director
  • performs other duties as assigned
