The Delaney at Georgetown is currently seeking a hospitality-focused Concierge to join their team. This role is vital as the Concierge serves as the first point of contact for residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers. The Concierge plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere that reflects the community’s values of respect, care, and hospitality. Working in this position, you will have the rewarding opportunity to interact daily with residents and visitors, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously. The role offers a part-time schedule with available shifts on a PRN basis, including weekends, providing flexibility for candidates who are enthusiastic about contributing to senior care in a meaningful way.
Responsibilities include providing continuous telephone coverage to assist with inquiries and requests, managing deliveries by documenting packages in a logbook and notifying recipients, and resolving issues presented by community members and visitors in a way that balances organizational goals with personal satisfaction. Additionally, the Concierge assists with generating maintenance work orders and supports the Business Office Manager with various projects and assignments, making it a dynamic and essential position within the community's operations.

Job Duties
- Provide ongoing telephone coverage
- solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers in a manner so that both the organizational objectives are met and individuals feel appropriately served
- keep difficult situations from escalating
- accept delivery packages, document receipt of packages in log book, and notify the resident of delivery
- prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff
- assist the Business Office Manager with projects and assignments
