The Concierge role at Ivy Park at Monterey is a vital position that directly impacts the quality of life for residents and the efficiency of community operations. Working primarily on Fridays and Saturdays from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM, this part-time position offers a competitive pay range of $17.00 to $18.00 per hour. The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for residents, guests, and visitors, creating a welcoming and reassuring presence that enhances the community experience. In addition to greeting and assisting visitors, the role involves managing multi-line telephone systems, facilitating property tours, and providing essential clerical support to administrative staff.

The Concierge will monitor the Emergency Alert System to ensure resident safety, manage the business center and mail processes efficiently, and contribute to maintaining a safe and secure environment for everyone on campus. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- must pass a criminal background check
- must pass health screening tests including physical and TB tests
- able to operate a personal computer
- proficient in MS Office programs
- ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- prior experience in hospitality or senior living preferred
- willingness to follow safety and health protocols including vaccination and use of PPE
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community
- excellent customer service skills
- able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
- possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- for the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines
Job Duties
- Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service
- answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner
- monitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every call
- effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail
- maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards
- encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
