In the role of Concierge, you will serve as the welcoming face and ambassador of the community. This position is critical in supporting the day-to-day administration of the community, reporting under the Community Human Resources Director. The employment type for this role is per diem, offering a flexible schedule that is ideal for individuals seeking varied work hours. As a Concierge, your responsibility revolves around creating a positive first impression for all visitors and residents entering the facility. You will be the initial point of contact, greeting visitors in a friendly and professional manner, handling incoming phone calls efficiently, and managing the flow of communication within the community. Your duties include screening visitors, managing mail services for staff, maintaining emergency contact records, and assisting management with clerical tasks. Other responsibilities include coordinating transportation sign-ups, managing maintenance requests, paging staff as needed, and supporting special community events by taking RSVPs.

Job Duties
- Provides positive first impression to all who enter the community
- answers and screens all incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner, routes calls and takes messages as appropriate
- greets all visitors in a friendly, courteous and professional manner, screens and requires visitors to sign in at reception desk, notifies residents of visitors, instructs resident's visitor according to resident's instructions
- receives and processes mail for community staff, accepts all outgoing mail/packages
- types, copies, orders, and maintains inventory of office supplies, and performs other clerical duties
- maintains and updates log of all emergency phone numbers, keeps log at front desk
- maintains and updates emergency contact information on each resident, keeps information at front desk
- assists managers with various clerical responsibilities
- pages staff wearing beepers as necessary
- takes RSVPs for special functions as necessary
- oversees sign-up for scheduled transportation
- hands out maintenance requests forms and pass on to maintenance
- performs other duties as necessary
