Job Description
Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC) is a reputable organization committed to honoring and serving older adults as an expression of Christ's love. With eight continuing-care retirement communities throughout Texas, MRC is recognized for its compassionate approach and dedication to enhancing the quality of life for seniors. Each community under MRC provides a range of care options tailored to meet the diverse needs of its residents, emphasizing person-centered care and respect for individual preferences and dignity. MRC operates with a clear mission to create vibrant, engaging, and supportive environments where residents can thrive physically, emotionally, and socially.
One of MRC's distinguished communities is The Langford Retirement Community, located in College Station, Texas. The Langford stands out as a leader in continuing care retirement living, offering independent living, assisted living, and memory support services. It is proudly certified in the Eden Alternative Registry, which highlights its commitment to transforming traditional models of care into person-directed, individualized care approaches. This certification underscores The Langford's dedication to ensuring that all care decisions and activities prioritize the well-being and preferences of its residents, fostering a more humane and enriching experience.
The Langford is currently seeking a Concierge to join their vibrant team. This role offers the unique opportunity to be the welcoming face of the community, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for residents, their families, and visitors. The Concierge position is more than a typical front desk role; it is a vital part of the community's daily life, where excellent service, organization, and a genuine passion for serving seniors come together. The scheduled hours for the position are from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM twice a week, with additional availability required on weekends to best support the community's needs.
While prior front desk experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. The Langford values individuals who are friendly, well organized, and deeply committed to providing extraordinary service. This role is perfect for candidates who have a heart for seniors and want to contribute meaningfully to a supportive and caring community environment. Joining The Langford team means becoming part of a mission-driven organization that truly values each person and seeks to elevate the standard of senior living through compassion, respect, and dedication.
