The role available at Senior Lifestyle is a Part-Time/PRN position with scheduled shifts on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:30 pm to 10:00 pm. The pay range for this role is between $16.00 and $18.00 per hour. This role is designed for individuals who are enthusiastic about working closely with seniors and other community members to ensure a safe, welcoming, and smooth running environment within the facility.
As a member of the team embracing the HEART mission, the successful candidate will provide essential customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and family members. This position involves greeting residents and visitors, answering telephone calls, and assisting with administrative duties. Additionally, the role requires monitoring the safety and security of the community by overseeing surveillance cameras, door and building alarms, and responding promptly to any unusual activities. The individual will also be responsible for managing reports related to work orders, incidents, or concerns, as well as handling deliveries such as packages, plants, and prescription medications securely and efficiently.
Maintaining accurate records such as sign-in and sign-out logs for community keys and gate passes is a critical part of the job. Collaboration with other departments is encouraged, supporting administrative tasks as needed to ensure the highest level of service for residents and their families. The role demands a professional, compassionate, and positive demeanor at all times, with a focus on timely response to any concerns ensuring customer satisfaction remains a top priority. Job Duties
- Greet residents and provide general assistance to visitors, prospective residents, and families
- answer telephone calls
- monitor surveillance cameras, door alarms, life safety systems, building alarms and investigate any unusual activity
- process reports such as work orders, incidents and concerns
- receive packages, plants, prescription drugs, etc. and deliver or hold as requested
- maintain the sign in/out log for the issuance of community keys and gate passes
- assist other departments with administrative functions
- ensure resident/family/employee concerns receive timely response and follow up
- maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers
- perform other duties as assigned
