Currently, QSL Management is seeking a Concierge for The Barclay House of Aiken, a community dedicated to senior living excellence. The Concierge serves as the vital first point of contact for residents, guests, and staff, creating an inviting and welcoming atmosphere through professional hospitality. This role requires superb interpersonal skills and the ability to manage front desk operations, including answering phones and directing visitors appropriately. The Concierge ensures that the lobby and front porch areas are tidy and presentable, reflecting the community's commitment to excellence.

In addition to front desk duties, the Concierge assists with organizing and leading activities during quieter periods such as weekends and evenings, contributing to the social and emotional well-being of residents. Other office tasks may be assigned to support operational efficiency. The position calls for a team-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a genuine desire to serve others.

Job Requirements

  • Must have a caring heart willing to serve others
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum two years of general office experience including reception
  • Experience with older adult population preferred
  • Professional conduct with proper grammar and pleasant voice tone
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and interruptions
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years general office experience including reception
  • Experience working with older adult population preferred
  • Professional and polished with proper grammar and pleasant voice tone
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management and oral/written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Attentive to details and capable of multitasking in a busy setting
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Offer high level hospitality to all residents, guests and employees
  • Fulfill front desk responsibilities including courteous phone answering with proper greetings and appropriate visitor direction
  • Ensure lobby and front porch areas are clean and free of trash
  • Assist with activities conducted in the lobby near phone and front door
  • Lead weekend and evening activities during low traffic periods
  • Assist with other general office tasks upon request
