The role in question is centered around providing essential support and assistance to residents, guests, and vendors within the Senior Lifestyle community. As a community support representative, the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and residents, ensuring they feel welcomed and cared for. Responsibilities include greeting residents and visitors, managing telephone communications, overseeing safety by monitoring security systems, and managing daily administrative tasks such as recording work orders and incidents. Moreover, the role involves handling deliveries, maintaining property access logs, and collaborating with various departments to maintain smooth operations. Mastery of computer applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word is essential, enabling swift and accurate handling of administrative functions. Job Duties
- Greet residents and provide general assistance to visitors, prospective residents, and families
- answer telephone calls
- ensure safety of residents and property by monitoring surveillance cameras, door alarms, life safety systems, building alarms and investigating unusual activity
- process reports such as work orders, incidents and concerns
- receive packages, plants, prescription drugs and deliver or hold as requested
- maintain the sign in/out log for community keys and gate passes
- assist other departments with administrative functions
- ensure resident, family, and employee concerns receive timely response and follow up
- maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers
