Job Description

The Amberleigh is currently seeking a Receptionist to join their dedicated team. This role plays a crucial part in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for residents, visitors, and staff alike. The Receptionist acts as the initial point of contact, answering telephone calls, directing inquiries, and providing essential information about the community. It involves organizing transportation requests, managing mail distribution including express services, and assisting with maintenance requests and resident updates. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and must be enthusiastic about delivering top-tier customer service to senior residents. This position requires a dependable, responsible individual who values teamwork and can contribute positively to the community's dynamic atmosphere. The position offers a competitive salary of $16.26 per hour and requires weekend availability. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred
  • Must have computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to communicate effectively and courteously
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must have weekend availability
  • Dependable and responsible
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Duties

  • Answers telephone and directs the caller to the appropriate individual
  • Provides information such as community address, directions, fax numbers, and company website
  • Inputs maintenance requests into system
  • Updates resident roster and spreadsheets
  • Works with team to field phone calls and inquiries
  • Organizes transportation requests for residents
  • Sends appropriate emails to departments
  • Greets and directs visitors to the community
  • Receives, sorts, and forwards incoming mail
  • Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services
  • Resolves customer questions and concerns
