The Cedars of Chapel Hill is an upscale retirement community located in Chapel Hill, dedicated to providing exceptional care and quality of life for over 400 Members. The concierge position at The Cedars of Chapel Hill is a key multifunctional role that serves as a pivotal contact point within the Health Center and Clubhouse. This position requires an individual with excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a warm, engaging demeanor. A successful concierge will exhibit a personal touch in their interactions, making Members and their guests feel warmly welcomed and important every time they enter the community. The role involves administrative responsibilities, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, alongside strong public relations capabilities. The Concierge acts as an ambassador for the community, consistently presenting a positive image that reflects the values and service standards of The Cedars.
This role demands a commitment to extraordinary impressions, which means showing genuine compassion and empathy while addressing the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological needs of the residents. The concierge ensures that the environment remains safe, clean, and customer-focused, fostering trust and building meaningful relationships within the community. The hours for this role are thoughtfully structured to cover key times of day, including Thursday through Friday evenings, every other Saturday, and Sundays, offering a varied but predictable schedule for candidates.

- experience in customer service or administrative roles preferred
- proficiency with microsoft office
- excellent communication skills
