At The Cedars, every day is an opportunity for Members to enjoy their lives to the fullest, enriched by amenities and supportive services that promote physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological well-being.

The Concierge at The Cedars of Chapel Hill is a multifaceted and critical role within the community’s health center and clubhouse. This position demands a unique blend of administrative aptitude, customer service excellence, and polished communication skills. The Concierge serves as the essential first point of contact for Members, guests, and visitors, setting the tone for the community’s reputation by delivering extraordinary impressions with every interaction. Beyond routine duties, the Concierge embodies a service-oriented approach infused with empathy and compassion, building trusting relationships and anticipating the nuanced needs of residents and their families. Shift hours are thoughtfully scheduled as Thursday through Friday from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM and every other Saturday and Sunday with specific morning-to-afternoon timings, accommodating both the community’s operations and the needs of the Members.

Moreover, The Cedars prides itself on fostering an inclusive environment that honors diversity in all forms, including minority status, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, and veteran status. The position champions clear, timely, and accurate communication with residents and families, ensuring that customer interactions prioritize safety, comfort, and respect. The Concierge’s influence extends beyond typical departmental boundaries, encouraging proactive involvement in residents’ lives to meet holistic needs. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about elder care, professional excellence, and contributing to a supportive retirement community where every member’s individuality is valued and nurtured.

The Cedars of Chapel Hill also offers competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package reflecting their commitment to employee well-being. Benefits include fully paid employee life, disability, medical, vision, and dental insurance for full-time team members, along with generous paid time off, 401(k) employer match, and various employee assistance programs. Part-time employees receive prorated paid time off and are eligible for 401(k) participation upon meeting work-hour thresholds.
