Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Prior experience working with public
- Ability to read write speak and understand English
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Comfortable with multi-line telephone systems
- Good physical and mental health with PPD screening
- Interest in working with the geriatric population
- Ability to work independently
- Effective communication skills
- Willingness to perform non-professional duties
- Ability to remain level-headed in emergencies
- Spirit of cooperation and enthusiasm
- Maintain confidentiality
- Attend company meetings and training
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Must be able to read write speak and understand the English language
- Prior experience in working with public
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Comfortable with a multi-line telephone system answering taking messages and transferring calls
- Good physical and mental health PPD screening required
- Interest in people especially the geriatric population
- Ability to work without close supervision and follow verbal and written instructions
- Use tact and courtesy when dealing with staff residents families and visitors
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management employees and outside contacts
- Willingness to perform non-professional duties
- Level-headed in emergency situations with an acute sense of responsibility
- Spirit of cooperation and enthusiasm
- Attend all mandatory company meetings and specified training sessions
- Maintain confidentiality
Job Duties
- Receive guests and visitors having them sign in
- Assist visitors in finding resident rooms
- Answer telephone takes messages including caller's name telephone number time and date of call respond to requests forward information to other staff members
- Announce appointments and arrivals to appropriate staff
- Type memos correspondence reports and other documents as requested
- If requested sort mail and distribute appropriately to mailboxes residents and departments
- Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth personal interest and positive emphasis
