Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
1-3 years experience in healthcare, program administration, hospitality, or customer service industry
Ability to perform each essential job function satisfactorily
Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
Effective communication skills including hearing, understanding, and distinguishing speech and other sounds
Ability to work specified hours including days, possible evenings, weekends, and holidays
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
Ability to comply with safety principles, laws, regulations, and standards
Willingness to work in a team environment and coordinate workflow

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent
1-3 years experience in healthcare, program administration, hospitality, or customer service industry
Ability to perform essential job functions with visual acuity and effective communication skills
Strong commitment to Avera's mission, vision, core values, and social principles
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Knowledge of safety principles, laws, regulations, and standards such as CMS, The Joint Commission, DHHS, and OSHA preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred

Job Duties

Greet patients, families, visitors, and other customer groups
Serve as an information resource and navigator for patients, families, staff, and the community
Promote services within the facility and/or department by collaborating with appropriate departments to ensure information is current and up to date
Provide technology support by assisting with technology needs, room scheduling, equipment needs, room setup, and teardown as needed
Identify trends of inquiry and make recommendations regarding gaps of service and ideas for process improvement
