Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-3 years experience in healthcare, program administration, hospitality, or customer service industry
- Ability to perform each essential job function satisfactorily
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Effective communication skills including hearing, understanding, and distinguishing speech and other sounds
- Ability to work specified hours including days, possible evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to comply with safety principles, laws, regulations, and standards
- Willingness to work in a team environment and coordinate workflow

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-3 years experience in healthcare, program administration, hospitality, or customer service industry
- Ability to perform essential job functions with visual acuity and effective communication skills
- Strong commitment to Avera's mission, vision, core values, and social principles
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of safety principles, laws, regulations, and standards such as CMS, The Joint Commission, DHHS, and OSHA preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Job Duties
- Greet patients, families, visitors, and other customer groups
- Serve as an information resource and navigator for patients, families, staff, and the community
- Promote services within the facility and/or department by collaborating with appropriate departments to ensure information is current and up to date
- Provide technology support by assisting with technology needs, room scheduling, equipment needs, room setup, and teardown as needed
- Identify trends of inquiry and make recommendations regarding gaps of service and ideas for process improvement
