The Concierge role at Oakmont of Riverpark is a vital position responsible for ensuring an exceptional experience for residents, visitors, and staff alike. This role operates primarily in an on-call capacity and offers a pay range of $17.00 to $18.00 per hour. The Concierge serves as the welcoming face of the community, providing frontline support such as greeting visitors warmly, responding promptly to resident requests, arranging property tours, and managing multi-line telephone communications. In addition, the Concierge provides essential clerical support to the administrative team, contributing to the smooth daily operation of the senior living community. This individual is instrumental in enhancing the overall resident and guest experience by delivering courteous, professional, and efficient service at all times. Responsibilities also include monitoring the Emergency Alert System and responding immediately to calls, managing the business center, processing mail, and promoting a safe and secure environment in adherence with established safety standards. The position requires collaboration with various departments to foster a cooperative and positive work environment. Candidates for this role must be at least 18 years old, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferably have two years of experience in hospitality or senior living settings. Exceptional customer service skills and proficiency with computers, especially Microsoft Office applications, are essential. Effective communication skills for interacting with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and staff are critical. Safety is paramount; therefore, passing a criminal background check and health screenings, including physical and tuberculosis tests, is required. Additionally, team members must comply with health protocols such as vaccination, screening, and use of personal protective equipment to ensure the wellbeing of the community. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines

Job Duties
- Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service
- Answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner
- Monitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every call
- Effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards
- Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
