The role of the Hotel Concierge at Palms Casino Resort is a vital position within the hospitality team, focusing on delivering exceptional guest services that highlight the resort’s unique amenities as well as the attractions of the surrounding area. This position requires an outgoing and motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, interactive environment and serves as a key ambassador of the guest experience. The Concierge’s responsibilities revolve around assisting guests with a wide range of requests including making arrangements for tours, transportation, car rentals, excursions, golf outings, and promoting the resort’s restaurants, nightlife, events, and merchandise. The Concierge is expected to have thorough knowledge of all the Palms venues and proactively engage guests to enhance their stay.

Job Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age
Minimum 1 year experience preferred performing same or similar job functions in the Vegas market, preferably at mid-level to luxury hospitality resorts
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
Outstanding guest service skills
Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
Must have the ability to meet or exceed goals, as well as excel in customer service standards
Must be comfortable exchanging names with customers
Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Able to successfully use computers and calculators
Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations quickly and accurately
Must be able to work well in a fast paced, multi-tasking, detail-oriented environment
Available to work flexible hours, as needed, including early mornings, overnights, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently and carry objects over 40 pounds with assistance
Hearing sufficient to hear conversational levels in person and over the telephone
Speech sufficient to make oneself heard and understood in person, in front of groups, and over the telephone
Willingness to work in a climate-controlled retail setting inside a casino
Must maintain confidentiality of guest information

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Exceed guests’ needs by asking open-ended questions with the intent of assisting guests with an itinerary
Be knowledgeable and confident about all Palms venues and proactively sell Palms restaurants, events, nightlife, merchandise, and experiences
Provide outstanding guest service to all guests with enthusiastic greeting and engage in friendly conversation while educating, informing, and focusing on each guest to drive performance results
Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies
Document and assist with all guest questions, requests, complaints, or problems
Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent property data
Remain knowledgeable at all times of all property features, services, and hours of operation
