The company's commitment to quality and employee satisfaction is highlighted by its unique certification as a Great Place to Work, making it a preferred employer in the security industry. GardaWorld offers opportunities not only for frontline roles but also for extensive career growth, with many corporate employees having started in operational positions. The organization values diversity, equality, and the entrepreneurial spirit, creating a professional and inclusive atmosphere for all team members.

The role of a Concierge Security Officer is crucial within GardaWorld Security Services. This position focuses heavily on customer service and interpersonal skills, as officers serve as the first point of contact in locations such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. A Concierge Security Officer is responsible for welcoming visitors, verifying identities, and providing assistance with professionalism and courtesy. The role requires a keen ability to build trust and confidence with the public while maintaining vigilant security measures.

This full-time, second-shift role is based in Lexington, KY, and offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.35, along with the convenience of the DailyPay option for early wage access. The schedule is set from Tuesday through Friday, from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., providing consistent and predictable working hours. GardaWorld also provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options. Uniforms are provided at no cost, underscoring the company’s investment in its employees.

As a Concierge Security Officer, responsibilities include welcoming and guiding visitors, managing access control, conducting regular patrols of the premises to identify any potential risks, inspecting security equipment to ensure functionality, and responding efficiently to incidents, including providing first aid and coordinating with emergency response teams. Officers are also expected to handle inquiries in a helpful manner, both in person and over the phone, document incidents thoroughly, and communicate any security concerns promptly.

Ideal candidates will have exceptional customer service skills and proficiency in basic phone and computer tasks. While a High School Diploma or GED is required, those with backgrounds in security, military, or law enforcement are highly encouraged to apply and may have an advantage. Additionally, a state security license is preferred where applicable. Prospective employees must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass an extensive screening process including background checks and drug screenings.

Joining GardaWorld means more than just holding a job — it means becoming part of a global team dedicated to security excellence and personal advancement. For those with ambition and a strong work ethic, GardaWorld provides an environment where you can truly grow and develop a meaningful career. If this role is right for you, apply today to embark on a rewarding journey in security services.
