Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience answering telephones and or in a customer service position
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to deal tactfully with employees, residents, family members, and visitors
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
- Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others
- Must practice and promote Meridian Policies and Procedures, Mission Statement, Core Values and Founding Principles
- Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in telephone answering and customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal tactfully with diverse individuals
- Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
- Commitment to integrity and confidentiality
Job Duties
- Greet all guests in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner
- Answer telephone calls promptly and professionally
- Provide information and assistance to residents, family members, and visitors
- Maintain the reception area to ensure a neat and organized environment
- Handle scheduling and administrative tasks as required
- Facilitate communication between residents and staff
- Promote and uphold Meridian Senior Living policies and values
