The Concierge Manager role aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship is a critical position that ensures the delivery of superior customer service to Concierge Guests. This individual will oversee the operation of the Concierge Lounge, a key area where guests can receive personalized attention including itinerary planning, special bookings, and event coordination. The Concierge Manager works closely with guests to plan activities, excursions, and special events throughout their cruise, creating a seamless and enjoyable experience. This position requires interaction with 32 to 154 staterooms daily, showcasing efficiency, integrity, and a deep commitment to guest satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Manager of Concierge on board, the Concierge Manager plays a vital leadership role by fostering a friendly and inviting atmosphere and maintaining high standards for lounge cleanliness and service offerings.

This is a shipboard role that requires an individual to live and work aboard one of the Disney Cruise Line vessels, fully committed to the unique demands and rewarding environment of life at sea. Candidates must be willing to share accommodations with other crew members and participate actively in safety and emergency roles as outlined in the ship’s Assembly Plan. Job Requirements

  • Valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to complete pre-employment medical check
  • Willingness to undergo criminal background check
  • Preparedness with approved work shoes
  • Commitment to drug-free workplace and willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing onboard
  • Genuine interest in a career at sea and willingness to live and work on board a Disney Cruise Line vessel
  • Willingness to fulfill safety roles and emergency responsibilities as stated in ship Assembly Plan
  • Comfortable sharing cabin with other crew members and working in multicultural environment with strict regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years experience in hospitality with a luxury brand
  • Leadership and concierge experience with a strong understanding of proper etiquette
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Skilled in building relationships across various departments
  • Desire to create enjoyable experiences for children in a safe environment
  • Proficiency in multiple languages such as English Spanish French Portuguese Mandarin Japanese Hindi Arabic Tagalog Bahasa or Malay is a plus
  • Prior experience on a ship preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide dedicated service to Concierge Guests assisting with personalized itinerary planning special bookings event planning and specific requests such as spa or dining reservations
  • Deliver unparalleled personalized service while actively engaging with Concierge Guests in 32 to 154 staterooms each day demonstrating integrity and efficiency
  • Oversee the Concierge Lounge operations ensuring all food and beverage offerings are seamless and cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
  • Create a welcoming and fun atmosphere for all guests by ensuring timely execution of their requests
  • Build strong relationships with other departments to enhance guest experiences
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and emergency procedures as required on board
  • Manage and mentor concierge staff providing leadership and support
