The role of Concierge at The Presley Apartments is vital in creating an inviting and safe living environment. This position is designed for individuals who excel in customer service and communication, as the Concierge is often the first point of contact for residents, guests, and prospective tenants. The Concierge embodies professionalism through personal appearance, demeanor, and approachability, consistently projecting an image that reflects the property’s commitment to quality and hospitality. This position requires a compassionate and proactive employee who can manage resident concerns effectively, liaise with the Property Manager, and participate in community-building activities.

In this role, the Concierge will handle a variety of important duties including greeting residents and guests with warmth and urgency, assisting with move-ins, managing guest reservations, and coordinating event planning opportunities. They will maintain a clean and organized workspace while vigilantly monitoring access control to the property to ensure the safety and security of all occupants. This position requires a strong knowledge of local attractions and events to provide residents with helpful, relevant information, thus enhancing their living experience. Administrative responsibilities such as maintaining confidential resident files, managing package deliveries, and using work order systems also fall within the scope of this role.

Additionally, the Concierge is responsible for supporting the leasing process by answering calls, scheduling tours, and ensuring that prospective residents feel welcomed and informed throughout their visit. Job Duties

  • Provide the customer with an experience that will always be remembered and with the highest level of responsiveness
  • Project an approachable and professional image in personal appearance, manner, and demeanor
  • Maintain a work environment of cleanliness and organization
  • Assure prompt and positive action on all resident complaints, questions, concerns and suggestions, as well as conduct quality assurance follow-up
  • Respond to inquiries regarding services and building issues
  • Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests with utmost courtesy and urgency, moving out from behind the front desk to open doors and assist
  • Listen and work with residents who present service opportunities that other staff employees cannot resolve
  • Attempt to resolve them and/or elevate to the Property Manager when matters are outside scope or ability
  • Serve as information liaison to Property Manager
  • Follow up with client to assure successful completion
  • Maintain consistent presence at workstation
  • Participate in resident organization and functions when directed
  • Record reservations for guest and conference/party rooms
  • Forward event planning opportunities to Resource Concierge
  • Use professional telephone etiquette in handling resident requests
  • Use work order system when necessary
  • Be knowledgeable of local current attractions or events (concerts, theater, sporting events, special events, and specifically about The Property)
  • Assist and coordinate with new move-ins as necessary
  • Provide administrative assistance with resident files, ledger cards, which may include information regarding current employment, work telephone, number of vehicles parked on property, license numbers, assigned parking number/permit, and emergency information with confidentiality emphasized
  • Assist with package deliveries
  • Log receipts of packages delivered for residents and notify residents for pickup
  • Provide access control services and remain vigilant of non-residents and their purpose for being on property
  • Answer phone calls, set appointments for tours, provide basic information about the property, assist with follow up phone calls, and ensure prospective residents have the opportunity to tour the community
  • Ensure all prospective and current residents are welcomed with a warm greeting and excited to call The Presley Apartments their home
