The Concierge position is a vital role within the Springhouse Village community located in Springfield, MO. This part-time role, with potential to transition into full-time, involves serving as the primary point of contact for residents, guests, and employees. The Concierge acts as the face of the community, greeting visitors, managing telephone communications, and providing general information to ensure a welcoming and organized environment. Key responsibilities include handling reception duties, taking and relaying messages accurately, distributing mail, and assisting with the organization of resident activities and events. The role also involves contributing to the upkeep of the community’s neatness and assisting administrative staff with various tasks.
This position is ideal for individuals with a strong customer service orientation who enjoy interacting with people and taking on diverse administrative duties. While no prior experience in senior living is required, the role does demand excellent communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to multitask and maintain an organized work area. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- one to three years customer service experience and/or training
- basic computer skills
- ability to communicate effectively

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- one to three years customer service experience and/or training
- knowledge of basic computer skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- experience in a senior living community is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Carries out telephone answering and reception duties as required
- takes complete messages with pertinent information and communicates messages to the intended recipient
- greets residents and visitors
- answers inquiries and gives directions
- collates brochures for the marketing department
- sets up breakfast for Independent Living residents daily
- assists with Independent Living supper meal weekly
- updates the Independent Living Resident Phone List and Roster
- maintains Resident Sign-Out Logs as necessary
- assists with Independent Living calendar and provides activities for Independent Living and Assisted Living Residents
- maintains and keeps desk and entry area neat and organized
- organizes and distributes mail to residents, Executive Director and Department Coordinators
- assists administrative staff with assignments as directed
- maintains adherence to all company personnel policies and established operating policies and procedures
- performs other duties as assigned
