Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant hospitality experience in luxury or high-volume venues
- Must be 21 years or older
- California Responsible Beverage Service certification required or obtainable within 30 days
- Ability to stand and move through active venue environments during shifts lasting eight hours or longer
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of managing multiple guests and reservations concurrently
- Comfortable utilizing reservation systems such as UrVenue or similar
- Ability to maintain a polished and professional demeanor consistently
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and team meetings
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in upscale hospitality setting such as luxury hotels, high-volume rooftops, day clubs, or premium nightlife venues
- Demonstrated ability to manage group guest experiences with professionalism and composure
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with capacity for warm personal connection and polished professional communication
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple reservations and guest touchpoints simultaneously
- Experience with reservation and table management systems such as UrVenue preferred
- Must be 21 years or older
- California RBS certification required or obtainable within 30 days
- Ability to work in dynamic, crowded venue environments
- Preferred experience in concierge, guest services, or VIP host roles
- Existing relationships in LA entertainment or luxury lifestyle industries
- Bilingual communication skills considered a plus
- Working knowledge of wine, spirits, and craft cocktails
Job Duties
- Welcome all reserved parties of six or more with personalized, anticipatory service from point of arrival to table seating
- Serve as the single point of contact for each guest party throughout their entire visit including introductions, transitions, and farewell
- Maintain a composed, polished demeanor that reflects luxury concierge standards
- Proactively identify and resolve guest concerns before escalation
- Partner with Sales & Catering team to receive, review, and execute group bookings
- Review all Sales & Catering manifests prior to shifts confirming table assignments and VIP notes
- Serve as on-floor liaison ensuring Sales guests receive white-glove treatment
- Communicate post-event feedback to Sales team
- Manage and confirm all table reservations through booking platforms and outside promoters
- Ensure accuracy of reservation records including legal names and contact details
- Develop and maintain a personal guest book of recurring high-value patrons
- Drive direct table reservations through outreach and follow-up
- Collaborate with beverage team for tableside up selling aligned with brand standards
- Embody brand identity in appearance, communication, and conduct
- Maintain knowledge of cocktail program and weekly events
- Participate in pre-shift briefings and training
- Maintain high visibility and active presence on venue floor throughout shifts
