The On-Call Concierge at Hope Lodge is a pivotal role responsible for frontline guest services and representing ACS’s exceptional care. As the first point of contact for guests, the Concierge creates a warm and welcoming environment, ensuring each guest's stay is comfortable and their needs are promptly addressed. This position entails managing the front desk, which includes greeting guests, assisting with check-in and check-out, providing information about the lodge and local area, and handling inquiries and requests with professionalism and empathy. Moreover, the Concierge oversees transportation arrangements, coordinating timely travel to and from appointments, ensuring safety and adherence to regulations, and maintaining the cleanliness and operational condition of vehicles.
The role also involves crucial administrative duties such as managing communications, maintaining accurate guest records, processing room reservations, and assisting with general office tasks. Safety and security responsibilities include monitoring the lobby area, implementing access control measures, and responding swiftly to any emergencies. To excel in this position, strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, excellent communication, and a compassionate attitude are essential. The role demands flexibility, resilience in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina for periods of standing and assisting guests with luggage. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hospitality guest services or related field preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and reservation systems
- proficiency in using multi-line telephone systems
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Greet guests and visitors with warmth and hospitality upon arrival
- assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures ensuring a smooth experience
- provide information about Hope Lodge amenities services and local attractions
- handle guest inquiries requests and concerns promptly and professionally
- maintain a neat and organized front desk area ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- manage transportation services for guests including arranging rides to and from appointments
- coordinate transportation schedules ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off
- drive guests to appointments safely adhering to traffic laws
- maintain cleanliness and safety of transportation vehicles performing routine inspections
- manage incoming calls emails and correspondence directing them to appropriate staff
- maintain accurate guest records including check-in/out information contact details and special requests
- process reservations and room assignments according to procedures
- assist with administrative tasks such as filing data entry and photocopying
- monitor lobby area ensuring safety and security of guests and property
- implement security protocols including guest identification and access control
- respond to emergencies or incidents promptly following established protocols
