Job Requirements

  • Licensed practical nurse (LPN) or registered nurse (RN)
  • availability for full-time or part-time work
  • physical ability to assist with wheelchair transfers
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • valid driver’s license and ability to drive a handicap-accessible van
  • willingness to learn ventilator and tracheostomy care on the job
  • dependable and compassionate attitude

Job Qualifications

  • Licensed practical nurse (LPN) or registered nurse (RN)
  • ventilator and tracheostomy care experience preferred but not required
  • excellent patient care and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently
  • strong desire to learn and adapt to care routines
  • physical ability to assist with wheelchair transfers

Job Duties

  • Provide personalized nursing care including tracheostomy suctioning and ventilator management
  • assist with personal care tasks such as dressing and feeding
  • transfer client safely to and from power wheelchair
  • drive handicap-accessible van to transport client to and from Cedarville University
  • monitor client’s condition and respond promptly to any medical needs
  • maintain a safe and supportive care environment
  • collaborate with family to ensure continuity and quality of care
