Hillcrest Highlands of Gretna is a well-established senior living community located in Gretna, Nebraska, dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to its residents. Hillcrest Highlands offers a variety of living options, including assisted living and memory care, ensuring that each resident receives personalized and comprehensive support suited to their unique needs. We are currently seeking a dedicated Concierge to join our team at Hillcrest Highlands of Gretna. The Concierge position is a crucial role within our community, serving as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, vendors, and team members. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in an organized, people-oriented environment and enjoys providing exceptional customer service in a senior living setting. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, offering a consistent evening shift that allows for a balanced work-life routine. Starting pay is $15.50 per hour, with potential for increases depending on experience.

As a Concierge at Hillcrest Highlands, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere that supports the day-to-day operations of the community. Your duties will include managing phone calls, greeting and assisting visitors and residents, supporting administrative teams with clerical tasks, monitoring security, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in key areas of the community. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with different departments such as Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Environmental Services, contributing to a team-oriented workplace that values respect, accountability, and selflessness.

This position plays a significant part in enhancing the resident experience by providing personalized assistance and ensuring a smooth and secure environment. Candidates who are comfortable with technology, able to lift up to 35 pounds, and willing to follow infection control standards will find this role fulfilling and engaging. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least one year of administrative office experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Post-high school training or degree with a business emphasis preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to stay calm, flexible, and professional in stressful situations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to perform repetitive sitting, bending, and standing movements
  • Comfortable using technology and resources efficiently

Job Duties

  • Serve as a welcoming point of contact for residents, visitors, vendors, and team members
  • Assist residents with personalized services and daily needs
  • Manage incoming calls, visitors, and outside vendors
  • Support the Administrator and Marketing team with clerical and office management tasks
  • Maintain the shift Daily Activity Log
  • Monitor security cameras and complete security checks throughout common areas
  • Complete spa end-of-day checklist responsibilities
  • Assist with trash removal, laundry, and light housekeeping support as needed
  • Help keep the lobby, administrative areas, and theater clean and organized
  • Support Assisted Living, Memory Care, Environmental Services, and other departments as needed
  • Assist with setup and takedown of meeting rooms and Highlands Hall
