Job Description
Asset Living is a reputable third-party management firm with a rich history dating back to 1986, known for its commitment to fostering thriving communities across the United States. Over the years, the company has grown from a small property management firm to one of the most trusted partners in the real estate industry. Asset Living has a diverse portfolio that includes multifamily properties, single-family home rentals, affordable housing, build-to-rent communities, active adult residencies, and student housing divisions. The company prides itself on its innovative approach and inclusive culture, which brings together talented individuals from various backgrounds to drive excellence and achieve outstanding results for its clients and the communities it serves.
Asset Living operates under the core philosophy "Together We Lead, Together We Succeed," which emphasizes leadership by example, collaboration, and continuous improvement both at the individual and organizational levels. The company fosters an environment where every voice is valued, ideas are welcomed, and employees have opportunities to grow alongside the business. Recognized as one of the nation's "Best and Brightest Places to Work" and ranked among the top 50 professionals by the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), Asset Living is celebrated for its strong workplace culture, commitment to growth opportunities, and its reputation as a trusted real estate partner. It is a member of The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and holds an Accredited Management Organization (AMO) designation, underscoring its dedication to professionalism and quality service.
The Concierge role at Asset Living is essential for delivering exceptional support to current residents and onsite staff. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $25 to $30, dependent on the candidate's experience and qualifications. The Concierge is responsible for providing a high level of administrative support, customer service, and community engagement, contributing to the overall resident experience and smooth operation of the property management office.
Key responsibilities include daily onsite attendance, assisting office staff with various tasks, preparing lease documents and welcome materials for new residents, distributing resident communications, updating the property website, and coordinating maintenance work orders. Additionally, the Concierge acts as a frontline customer service representative, addressing resident inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, assisting with concierge requests such as arranging taxis, providing directions, and managing package deliveries.
Maintaining a clean and welcoming leasing office and clubhouse environment is also part of the role, which enhances the community atmosphere. The position demands physical agility to perform tasks such as moving between worksites, handling packages, and occasionally navigating confined spaces or outdoor environments. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for individuals holding a bachelor's degree or possessing two years of experience in the housing industry. Basic knowledge of Fair Housing laws, OSHA requirements, and computer software used onsite is necessary.
Asset Living provides a comprehensive total rewards package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance, employer-matched 401K, as well as commission and performance bonuses when applicable. Full-time employees also benefit from paid sick days and company holidays. This position is vital to sustaining the high standards of service and operational excellence that Asset Living is known for, and successful candidates will join a dynamic, supportive, and growth-oriented team dedicated to achieving collective success.
