The role of Hotel Concierge at Palms Casino Resort is a key position within the hospitality team, focused on delivering outstanding guest service and facilitating memorable stays for all visitors. This position is responsible for providing personalized assistance and expert recommendations to guests regarding Palms' amenities and services, as well as attractions and activities in the surrounding Las Vegas area. The Concierge acts as a knowledgeable ambassador for Palms, promoting venues, restaurants, events, nightlife, and exclusive experiences that enhance the guest journey.
As the face of guest interaction, the Concierge engages with guests through friendly and professional communication, ensuring all questions, requests, and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively. The Concierge position demands an outgoing, motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, interactive environment and who demonstrates a passion for exceeding guest expectations. Responsibilities include helping guests with itinerary planning by asking open-ended questions, confidently selling Palms’ offerings, maintaining confidentiality of guest information, accurately handling contracted monies, and ensuring all guest interactions are documented thoroughly.
This role is pivotal in upholding the resort’s brand image and achieving performance results that align with Palms Casino Resort’s commitment to superior guest satisfaction. The Concierge must maintain an extensive knowledge of all property features, services, hours of operation, and local attractions such as tours, transportation options, car rentals, excursions, and golf arrangements. Job Requirements
- minimum 21 years of age
- minimum 1 year experience preferred, performing same or similar job functions in the Vegas market, preferably at mid-level to luxury hospitality resorts
- ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- outstanding guest service skills
- excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
- must have the ability to meet or exceed goals, as well as excel in customer service standards
- must be comfortable exchanging names with customers
- ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- able to successfully use computers and calculators
- ability to compute basic mathematical calculations quickly and accurately (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers)
