Job Description

Located in the scenic Northeast Phoenix/Scottsdale area, Sagewood is a premier resort-style senior living community known for its commitment to exceptional hospitality and service. Part of Life Care Services (LCS), a nationwide leader in senior living management, Sagewood combines the stability and resources of a trusted organization with the warmth and close-knit culture of a vibrant community. The community is highly respected, boasting a 5-star rated healthcare center set in a resort-style ambiance, which makes it a unique and welcoming home for seniors seeking quality living with excellent care. Its reputation is further solidified by JD Power customer satisfaction awards and five years of deficiency-free ratings from Maricopa County, underscoring its dedication to compliance, quality, and resident satisfaction.

The role of the Full-Time Front Desk Concierge at Sagewood is an essential and dynamic position within this esteemed community. This position offers approximately 37 hours per week with a balanced schedule that includes Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 5 pm and Fridays from noon to 8 pm, allowing employees to enjoy their evenings off without late-night shifts. The hourly pay rate is competitive, set at $18 per hour.

As the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and vendors, the Front Desk Concierge embodies the friendly, welcoming spirit that defines Sagewood. This role demands a professional with a passion for senior care, strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The concierge is responsible for managing all front desk operations including greeting and assisting guests courteously, managing incoming calls and directing them as needed, coordinating resident transportation, and handling guest suite reservations. Additionally, the concierge supports the community by assisting residents with activity and event reservations and liaising with security and valet teams to ensure all resident needs are met.

Working as a concierge at Sagewood means becoming part of a supportive team that values positivity and collaboration, contributing to a workplace culture that stands out in the senior living industry. Employees benefit from a healthy work-life balance with a schedule that avoids late-night hours, making it easier to maintain personal commitments and overall well-being.

The position also includes access to a comprehensive suite of benefits designed to support employees and their families. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, paid time off including up to 16 days plus two floating holidays, a 401K plan with company match, tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, and even daily pay options. Furthermore, employees enjoy affordable $4 meals on-site, an Employee Assistance Program for additional personal support, and other perks that contribute to employee satisfaction and retention.

This concierge opportunity uniquely positions candidates who are service-oriented, detail-focused, and comfortable using office technology such as MS Word, Outlook, and Excel. The role requires someone able to work independently, making sound decisions while fostering positive relationships with residents and colleagues. Anyone passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors while working in a beautiful, resort-like setting will find this role both rewarding and fulfilling.
