The Concierge role at Ivy Park is a vital frontline position responsible for greeting visitors, fulfilling resident requests, arranging tours of the property, and providing clerical support to the administrative staff. This role demands exceptional customer service abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently in alignment with the company’s mission and values. Starting pay ranges from $18.50 to $19.50 per hour, reflecting the importance of this position in supporting the smooth operations and warm welcoming atmosphere of the community.
The Concierge works shifts during PM (2 pm - 10 pm) and overnight (10 pm - 6 am) hours, ensuring residents and guests receive timely and professional assistance at all times. Responsibilities include answering a multi-line telephone system, monitoring the Emergency Alert System to respond immediately to calls, managing the business center, and overseeing mail processing. Additionally, the Concierge is responsible for maintaining a secure environment adhering to established safety protocols and promoting teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
This role requires excellent communication skills as it involves interaction with diverse individuals, including residents, families, healthcare professionals, and team members. Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills are necessary to perform clerical duties effectively. The position also demands a commitment to uphold health and safety mandates, including passing criminal background checks and screenings, and following COVID-19 protocols such as vaccination and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
