Job Description
MBK Senior Living is a dedicated provider of senior living services, centered on the principle of putting people first — both residents and team members alike. With over 30 years of experience, MBK Senior Living operates 35 communities offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care throughout the Western United States. The company has been recognized as one of the Top 50 "Best Workplaces in Aging Services" by Fortune magazine, highlighting a deep commitment to creating positive, supportive work environments and exceptional resident experiences. MBK embraces the Japanese philosophy of Yoi Shigoto, meaning "good, quality work," which drives the company's culture of trust, high standards, and personal development. This philosophy is evident in MBK's dedication to exceeding expectations and enriching the lives of those it serves.
The Concierge role at MBK Senior Living is a full-time position, scheduled Monday through Friday from noon to 8 pm, with some flexibility required for weekends and holidays, and a competitive salary range of $19 to $20 per hour. This position plays a crucial role in establishing exceptional first impressions and delivering outstanding customer service to residents, their families, guests, and professionals interacting with the community. The Concierge is often the first point of contact, responsible for setting a warm, welcoming tone and ensuring every visitor feels valued and supported from the moment they arrive.
In this role, the Concierge supports both the residents and the broader sales and operations teams by managing inquiries, facilitating tours, and maintaining clear, effective communication. The role also involves operational assistance such as managing incoming calls, mail distribution, and keeping the reception area organized and inviting. Emphasizing teamwork and open communication, the Concierge promotes a community-centered atmosphere aligned with MBK’s core principles and values.
MBK Senior Living offers a rich benefits package for full-time employees, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as 401(k) matching up to 4%, childcare and eldercare assistance, flexible spending accounts, and educational assistance in the form of loan aid and scholarships. Employees also benefit from professional development opportunities like training, mentoring programs, and coaching to foster growth both personally and professionally.
MBK Senior Living values diversity, equity, and inclusion and is an equal opportunity employer that provides reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals throughout the employment process. The company commits to compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including healthcare-related regulations like HIPAA and those specific to communities serving Medicaid or Medicare residents. Overall, joining MBK means becoming part of a supportive, fun-loving, hospitality-driven team working together to be the senior living provider of choice in the markets served. The Concierge position offers a meaningful career opportunity where making a positive impact on residents' lives and building lasting relationships is at the heart of each day.
