The Concierge role at Artis Senior Living is a part-time position with a starting pay of $21 per hour. The schedule includes shifts every other weekend on Saturday and Sunday, along with a holiday schedule, with working hours from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. This role is integral to the smooth operation of the Business Office, Marketing, and Executive Director's functions. The Concierge is responsible for managing the reception area, handling telephone communications promptly and professionally, directing calls appropriately, greeting guests, accepting deliveries, and providing various administrative supports. The position requires modeling professional presentation and communication, ensuring each interaction reflects the high standards of The Artis Way.

The Concierge plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents, guests, and team members by offering exceptional hospitality and administrative assistance. Responsibilities include responding to residents’ and family members’ inquiries, collaborating with business and executive leadership for appropriate follow-up, monitoring and maintaining cleanliness in business office areas, organizing mail, assisting marketing staff with phone inquiries, processing move-in paperwork, supporting prospective resident tours, ordering marketing materials, and maintaining resource information for residents and families. In addition, the Concierge must adhere to all community policies concerning safety, confidentiality, attendance, and teamwork while complying with infection prevention, OSHA, fire, and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of everyone within the community. Job Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Respond to residents’ and family members’ questions and concerns and share important information with the Director, Business Services and Executive Director or other supervisor as appropriate
  • Greet and direct all visitors in a professional and helpful manner
  • Answer all incoming calls within three rings and triage inquiries, transfer calls or take messages as necessary
  • Monitor and maintain all business office areas for cleanliness, including community entrance, front lobby, conference rooms, beverage stations, and administrative restroom
  • Organize incoming mail and ensure that it is distributed to the appropriate person
  • Assist in telephone inquiries in the absence of an immediately available Marketing person in obtaining information from inquiry including at minimum call back information
  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing team, including but not limited to: process move-in paperwork, assist with prospective resident tours if needed, order marketing collateral, etc.
  • Maintain the community resource information library, directory, and collateral, to route residents and/or their families to available services both in-house and in the general vicinity
  • Observe community policies and procedures regarding resident and team member safety, attendance, timeliness, house rules, teamwork, and resident service
  • Maintain professionalism and resident confidentiality at all times
  • Adhere to all Infection Prevention, OSHA, fire, and safety regulations at all times, to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents and team members
  • Perform all other duties as requested
