Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year receptionist experience
  • high school diploma or GED
  • basic computer proficiency
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to handle confidential information
  • ability to work Monday through Friday evenings
  • patient and compassionate nature
  • ability to perform basic math
  • professional appearance and demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of receptionist experience with multiline phone system preferred
  • high school diploma or GED
  • strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • strong communication, problem-solving, and judgment abilities
  • ability to relate to and support an aging population
  • basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • pleasant and professional phone presence
  • professional appearance and demeanor
  • patient, compassionate, and service-oriented approach
  • ability to read, write, spell, perform basic math, and communicate effectively in English

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist residents, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner
  • answer phones and respond to inquiries promptly and accurately
  • maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • monitor lobby and reception areas to support resident safety and awareness
  • ensure timely staff response to resident or visitor needs
  • accurately take and relay messages, prioritizing urgent matters
  • follow security procedures including monitoring keys, pagers, and camera systems
