The University of Miami/UHealth Department of UMHC-SCCC Survivorship is currently seeking a Full-Time Concierge Coordinator to join their team. This role is designed for individuals who are highly organized, communicative, and capable of managing complex processes to ensure seamless healthcare service delivery for patients, particularly international or VIP patients. Operating in a hybrid work model, this position is based in Miami and requires the Concierge Coordinator to act as a vital liaison between referral sources, hospitals, physicians, and patients. The coordinator will be responsible for managing the full medical service cycle—from gathering critical patient data to coordinating logistics such as transportation and lodging for patients receiving care at UM facilities.

This role demands strong administrative skills, adept negotiation abilities for handling payment arrangements including negotiating bundles and discounts, and meticulous follow-up to ensure payment collections from non-contracted payers. Additionally, the Concierge Coordinator serves as an on-call contact for after-hours inquiries on a rotating basis, ensuring continuous support and troubleshooting to swiftly resolve any issues that arise. This position plays a crucial role in upholding the University’s policies and safeguarding its assets while enhancing patient satisfaction through attentive and responsive service.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and have a minimum of one year of relevant professional experience. Essential skills include a strong proficiency with office software and relevant computer applications, the ability to quickly adapt to new procedures and technologies, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The successful applicant will demonstrate teamwork capabilities, learning agility, and a dedication to providing exemplary service. The University of Miami offers competitive salaries and an attractive benefits package, affirming its commitment to fostering a supportive and rewarding work environment. This opportunity is well-suited for individuals passionate about healthcare coordination and patient-centered service delivery, eager to contribute to an academic medical center that is recognized worldwide for teaching, research, and clinical care excellence.
