Job Description

The Avalon of Auburn Hills is currently seeking a hospitality-focused Concierge to join their team in a contingent role working every other weekend shifts. This position plays a critical part as the first point of contact for anyone visiting the community, embodying the spirit of hospitality and senior engagement that defines The Avalon. The Concierge will be responsible for greeting residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers in a gracious and professional manner. This role requires outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a variety of responsibilities with a calm and positive outlook.

As the Concierge, you will manage telephone coverage to ensure continuous accessibility for the community. You will be tasked with addressing issues raised by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers, resolving concerns effectively while upholding organizational standards and ensuring those involved feel valued and heard. This helps maintain a peaceful atmosphere and prevents difficult situations from escalating. Responsibilities also include accepting delivery packages, logging receipts, notifying recipients, preparing maintenance work orders requested by residents or staff, and assisting the Business Office Manager with various projects and assignments.

Job Requirements

Job Duties
