The Concierge role at Conrad Hotel is a full-time position with a pay rate of $29.50 per hour, reflective of applicable and specialized experience. The position requires availability for various shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, making flexibility in scheduling an essential aspect of the role. This role plays a critical part in enhancing guest satisfaction by delivering exceptional concierge services that go beyond basic assistance. Concierges at Conrad serve as the primary point of contact for guests needing detailed local information, personalized recommendations, bookings for tours, dining, transportation, and other essential services during their stay.
In this role, you will be expected to provide expert assistance and outstanding hospitality by responding promptly to all guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism and a friendly demeanor. Your responsibilities include managing guest communications, processing messages, retrieving mail and packages, and arranging recreational and business activities both inside and outside the hotel. You will coordinate specialized services like medical care, childcare, and floristry to ensure guest needs are met seamlessly.
Beyond routine duties, the Concierge at Conrad is also pivotal in registering VIP guests and promoting hotel marketing programs to encourage the use of hotel services. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work full-time shifts including weekdays, weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in a customer-facing role preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of local dining, entertainment and transportation options preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and handle requests efficiently
- Knowledge of local area and attractions is advantageous
- Proficiency in relevant computer systems and software
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Provide information, recommendations and booking services for guest inquiries including directions, hours of operation, hotel services, transportation and travel arrangements, tour and event tickets, restaurant reservations and medical care
- Process and deliver messages for guests
- Retrieve mail, small packages and facsimiles for guests as requested
- Arrange and confirm recreational, business and dining activities inside and outside the hotel for guests
- Respond to special requests for services including dentists, doctors, child care, florists and others
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Register VIP guests as needed
- Promote company marketing programs and distribute printed materials as needed
