The position of Club Lounge Attendant at the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel plays an essential role in maintaining the highest standards of guest service and lounge operations. This role involves monitoring the club lounge for seating availability, ensuring guest safety, and promoting the overall wellbeing of guests throughout their visit. The attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and the overall condition of the bar, tables, and associated tools. They prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including hot drinks, cold refreshments, and alcoholic options, while keeping all necessary supplies well-stocked and replenished promptly. Responsibilities also include washing dishes and utensils, completing opening and closing duties, and securing all liquor and storage areas to comply with safety regulations.
In addition to the operational tasks, the Club Lounge Attendant acts as the face of the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel within the lounge, welcoming and acknowledging every guest per company standards. They anticipate and respond to guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and ensure that each guest leaves with a positive and genuine impression of their visit. Clear communication, professionalism, and teamwork are emphasized as vital components of the role. Attendants must maintain confidentiality regarding proprietary information and contribute to a safe, positive working environment by reporting any accidents or unsafe conditions to management. Physical requirements include the ability to move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds and the stamina to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during the work shift.
