Job Description

Currently, Liberty Senior Living is seeking an experienced Concierge to join their dedicated team. This role is vital in ensuring guests, residents, and employees receive attentive assistance promptly and with professionalism. The Concierge acts as the first point of contact, managing communication, welcoming visitors, and supporting various operational needs of the facility. Key to this position is maintaining confidentiality, responding to emergencies, and managing logistical coordination such as package handling and visitor announcements. The Concierge must be knowledgeable about the building layout and emergency procedures to ensure resident safety and efficient response during incidents.

The position requires a calm and proactive individual capable of multitasking effectively under pressure. Among the responsibilities are answering phones, directing calls, maintaining security protocols including evening and overnight checks, and assisting visitors and residents with inquiries. Additionally, the Concierge will coordinate work orders for maintenance and housekeeping requests and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. The role demands critical thinking, computer skills, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in hospitality or senior living environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Maintain high degree of confidentiality
  • answer phones and route calls to appropriate departments
  • ensure all visitors sign in via kiosk
  • call resident apartments to announce visitors before sending them
  • enter work orders for housekeeping, pest control, and maintenance issues
  • accept packages and monitor postal deliveries, notifying residents
  • inform executive director and department heads when officials enter the building
  • initiate assistance from emergency services when necessary
  • know building layout to assist emergency services
  • operate fire alarm panel and direct resident response in emergencies
  • receive and deliver flowers, notifying appropriate persons
  • assist individuals completing applications by directing them to relevant departments
  • meet and greet all new residents
  • assist visitors, families, and employees as needed
  • participate in fire response and follow all safety procedures
  • follow security procedures during evening shifts to secure the building
  • conduct overnight security rounds
  • deliver newspapers to resident doors
  • complete resident daily check-ins during day shifts
  • respond promptly to resident emergency calls
  • assist before, during, and after any disaster
  • utilize computer and critical thinking skills
  • perform all other duties as assigned
